We’re concerned that Pride, like much else, has been put on hold due of the circumstances  under covid. This led us to create ‘The Absence’ an international project to shed light on LGBTQ+ issues in a troubled political world we live in today. With awareness of the complicity and a understanding that we will never be able to tell everyones story, we decided to tell a story in an artistic way. To capture the love and support that still exists outside Pride. With this statement film, we want to show that love and struggle continues.
